Resources Page, Etc

Posted at 03:49 AM on March 19, 2009

Since I haven't really pursued a new site in a few months, I hadn't updated the blog/site much either. But I have a few interested parties on the horizon, so I figured I better get this place updated and rockin. First on my to-do list was to get a Resources page up and running so I could link to templates, helpful sites, and other sorts of resources which come in handy when building a site or looking to start one. There's not much there yet, but there will be more soon.

The other thing I've done is update the main page's info and the Portfolio's layout and site previews. As I do more, you'll see some more updates. For now, however, I'm gonna get back to drawing this comic that has taken forever to finish.

We Have a New Domain!

Posted at 12:40 AM on May 08, 2008

I finally got tired of having the "childish" domain which I'd stuck with for almost a year now, and so I forked out the cash for a real domain, am creating a logo, and will be posting some banners, printing some business cards, and getting some flyers up around town. So be on the look out for that stuff, and if you know of any businesses looking for some sweet webaction, direct them this way. I'm doing this as my "full-time" job these days now that I'm a college graduate.

Updating the Site

Posted at 03:37 AM on February 22, 2008
After being approached tonight by someone wondering what my prowess as a master of the web actually is, I gave him this site's link and realized that I really haven't kept it up to date as of lately. So, I went ahead and updated the site, put new pics on the Portfolio page, and am posting a new blog.

My newest endeavor since we last talked is my new web-comic: boozeathon4billion. It will also be hosting the reviews which were once on a different site of mine, and will soon have a few more sweet features (eg: flash vids, some possible podcasts, etc). I don't know when all that will be up, but the other "sweet features" will probably be pushed off until May or beyond seeing as how this is my last semester of college and I'm crazy busy.

Also, I was asked about the sites I've done for WJC, and although I did make them, they are not official scriptDance sites; I am an employee of the college's marketing office which facilitates departmental sites, but I put links to them on here as an example of some sites I have previously made.

On that same note, I also need to note that I didn't do the majority of work on the Northland Family Care site either. I redid a majority of the CSS template which they picked from their service provider, helped get all the code and pages into place, and then handed it off to them. They now update it on their own and I am only brought in for problems, changes, or any help which they may need with it (eg: cleaning up code, directories, reorganization, etc).

Alright, I'm off to do my actual homework now. Enjoy the new stuff and feel free to contact me if you've got any questions.

Just Getting Started

Posted at 02:51 AM on June 30, 2007
After eight years of doing basic HTML websites for friends and organizations (eg: youth groups, college clubs, friends bands, etc), I have finally gotten around to making my own freelance web design/editing business so that I can do these things for more than minimum wage. This also gives me the opportunity to link together different projects which I have, and still am working on, so that any one can cruise this site and see what kind of work I do. And, since I'm using a CSS template, I'm getting to learn CSS at a more interactive level, which is very exciting.

So, bear with the site, and this business, gets off its feet. scriptDance Web Design is going to be awesome, so round up everyone you know, tell them how great we are, and send them this way!

More Soon.
